Created by Linda Marrical, ABT A.R.T. uses a combination of acupressure, shiatsu and mind/body breathing and processing techniques to treat a variety of conditions.

Chronic pain and tension in the neck and back, Fibromyalgia, TMJ, migraine, conditions related to PTSD just to name a few.

Acupressure uses finger pressure on the acupoints found in Chinese medicine while acupuncture uses needles. The effectiveness is the same.

A.R.T. uses the principles of Chinese medicine and is done fully clothed. Acupressure can be used when massage is to invasive for some medical conditions.

No matter what type of bodywork you receive there should some immediate difference with your symptoms. Each individual and condition is different so treatment plans will be discussed during your session. Each client is given homework such as movement, stretching, diet… as you are the key ingredient to a successful and long term change.

A Swedish or relaxation massage relaxes the body and improves overall circulation. A deep tissue massage involves very firm, deep pressure in targeted areas.

The many benefits of massage include relaxation, pain relief, relaxation, increase in circulation, body awareness and promotion of healthy sleep.

Aromatherapy is the use of essential oil’s that are known to have a therapeutic benefits. The oils are used either in a diffuser or mixed in with the lotion.

A hot stone massage is similar to a Swedish massage as it promotes relaxation and tension relief. The heat from the stones warms the muscles allowing deeper relaxation while still using a gentle approach.
